backgrounds and necessities of reviewing engineering education in iran

study of the engineering education from several aspects needs to be paid attention. in order to make ease the learning process, to get successful in educational courses and technical programs, and having a useful performance in working areas. these challenging issues make it necessary to educate engineers with ability of special competencies and skills as social capital, creativity, group working and engineering ethics. the purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact and significant of the above mentioned skills and competencies on engineering education through a survey with respect of the view point of experts from university and industry. finally the results of this study is proposed in the form of some actual recommendations which is hopefully make promotion and vital changes in the engineering education in iran.
